What a day it has been! I had a dr. appt today which turned into them actually listening to me, ordering the tests I wanted and scheduling an appt. with a specialist NEXT WEDNESDAY! I tried to make an appt. myself a few weeks ago and the soonest I could get in was June 27! He told me I simply could not wait that long and that I see someone immediatly...and was able to get me in by calling himself. Amazing isn't it??!! So..after 12 vials of blood and a few phone calls...hopefully I will be on the road to some answers and some better health!

Madisyn also had an orthodontist appt. this afternoon and upon telling him that I have been unhappy with my smile/teeth for 20 years he actually did moldings, xrays and photos of my teeth as well! Madisyn and I will be getting braces at the same time! How funny is that going to be??

Upon arriving home after being at Dr. visits all day...I discovered Lyza covered from head to toe in a rash, welps and bumps all over her little body. When I say all over...I mean from her scalp to her feet...even her eyelids. She had her 18 month check up yesterday, received two shots and has her first ear infection. Allergic to penicillian!!! So...after benedryl, motrin and a call to the dr, they are switching her medicine in 48 hrs to something that she can take. This all comes just hours before Madisyn's orchestra performance at Roberts Stadium! So...grandma and grandpa came to stay with Lyza so Chris and I could go to Maddy's concert. It was a wonderful concert and I will post pictures tomorrow! I just had to post these "trauma" photos of Lyza's dr. visit today! She is overly dramatic and wow....I bet they could hear her screams on the first floor of the hospital and we were on the third floor. That is why I like to take dad with me....so he can share in my lovely experiences! Poor dad...he is on third shift now and has to sleep during the day. Yesterday he got little rest due to the girls Dr. appts and today I know he got practically none with me being at the dr. and then having to take Madisyn to her appt.........hopefully this weekend he will catch up and I really need to see about finding an "on call" babysitter! I know what it is like to be sleep deprived and it is not fun!
