Christmas Lights.......

Tonight we went to the "Festival of Lights" downtown.....then headed to the 4H Center to see more lights and a visit with Santa. The line was long, and both girls were a little impatient.....and the Santa was , ummm...not very nice! He rushed us pretty quick while Maddy's friend Ashley tried to snap a family photo. He said to her "Hurry up Girl"...and well....after the line we waited in I think he could have spent more than a minute with us and let me get a couple of photos! Ash...you did a great job though and you didn't punch Santa.....so you are on the "good girl" list this year!! The Santa yesterday was much nicer and more patient! I could see if he had been at it for hours on end, but he only had a 3 hr gig each night!! Oh well......that's ok, that isn't really the reason for the season anyway! We stopped and got hot chocolate and shortbread cookies to nibble and sip on throughout our trip through the scenic tour...it was a special evening, as is every year!
