1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?

Finally finished photography school and put these skills to use making money!

2. Did you keep your New Years’ Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don't think I made any.....and I didn't make any this year!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Yes.....I have some new beautiful little cousins!

4. Did anyone close to you die?

No...not that I was real close with.

5. What countries did you visit?

None this year....stayed in the good ole' US of A!

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?

Contentment and control of my spending habits! (Wish me luck and say a prayer!)

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

May 29th....my anniversary, on the beach in Florida with Chris and the girls!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Starting my photography business.....and being a mommy! I love motherhood!

9. What was your biggest failure?

Over eating......well, late night eating I guess. I can go all day without eating, but eat at night when I'm bored! Spending too much money......but, my kids are well clothed! :-)

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Nothing major.......just back pain! Hope this year brings much less back pain!

11. What was the best thing you bought?

All the matching decor and partying stuff for my girls birthdays!!!

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?

Chris......staying calm, cool and collected when I was losing it at times! Yet...being supportive when I ranted and raved about things that just were not right and him being on my side!!!

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?

Ahhh......they know who they are! Rrrrrrrrrrrr

14. Where did most of your money go?

Target, Ebay :-)...MADISYN

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Monthly packages from Jennifer and family!

Vacations.....Camping......Birthday Parties....Madisyn coming home from summer visitation!

Many new blogger buddies! And...old friends on Facebook (not a fan, but a friend talked me into it! It was kinda fun!)

22. Did you fall in love in 2008?

I fall in love everyday all over again with my girls...and their silly giggles and wacky humor!

23. How many one-night stands?

Oh gosh....too many to count. You know how promiscuous I am! te he he

24. What was your favourite TV program?

Ok...hate me now, THE BACHELOR....and Samantha Who?

I also love that 70's Show!

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

Hate is a strong word.........very much dislike, YEP!

26. What was the best book you read this year?

I read a lot.....Best one was "If Mama's Going South, We're all Going With Her"

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?

Not so much of a discovery....but I love watching Madisyn sing in the talent show every year! I also started to love Christian Music this year.

28. What did you want and get?

Lots of vacations

29. What did you want and not get?

A winning lottery ticket

Going to Nashville to see Jen and Greg! (FEBRUARY!!!!!)

30. What was your favourite film of this year?

I'm not so much into movies......don't think I even went to a movie this past year! My attention span is not so great :-) I'm looking forward to "Marley and Me" and "Bedtime Stories" though!

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I don't think I did anything on my birthday...but we left shortly after to go to Florida for 9 days......I turned the Big 33!

32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Being able to go back to Guatemala just to visit and take it all in again!

Chris being home more and not on such crazy shifts....it is just as hard on me adjusting to his schedules. It is down right depressing at times!

Moving back home would have been AWESOME...well, for me anyway! Being closer to my family would be nice!

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?

COMFORT clothing! Fashion flew out the window and comfort flew in!

34. What kept you sane?

Jennifer!!!!!!!

Medication (hey...at least I'm honest!)

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Hate me again....but I love Ellen. Her shows are always "Happy".....dancing and humor put me in a good mood!

36. What political issue stirred you the most?

Negative political ads..... Racism, Immigration

37.Who did you miss?

I always miss my nieces and nephew! I wish they were all closer!

I do miss Lyza's foster family also.....wonderful people!

38. Who was the best new person you met?

Hands down......Jennifer and her family! I love them......they keep me sane, grounded and laughing!

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008?

Friends keep you going..... a smile makes a great impression.....skin color does not matter.....Family is Forever!
