Weekend Camping

We had a wonderful weekend camping! I was so at ease, relaxed and happy!! Despite the heat, we made the best of it. Tent camping is not ideal in the dead of summer....but I love to camp! Lyza was WONDERFUL and so was our new golden retriever, Chloe. They were both well behaved, slept well and played contently! We decided last minute on Saturday to go...so we packed up and within hours on the road and setting up camp. Sunday we went to the pool at the state park...Lyza loved the kiddie pool and had it all to herself. She went down the big waterslide with daddy about four times and loved it. We took a road trip to walmart also and bought some new "camping" games. Monday morning we packed up early before the thunderstorms hit and took afternoon naps! We are going back next weekend for 3 or 4 days, but renting a cabin. Chris is on vacation from work and we are looking forward to the R and R!!
