July is here.....

Here are some recent family photos. I just got the printed ones back last night.....they always look better on paper than on the screen at the studio!

Today was our last post placement visit with Lyza! It went very well....our social worker is sweet and very laid back, relaxed! I never have to fret about cleaning the house.......but yippee...our last visit, we are done!

The weather has been beautiful here and we have spent most of our days outdoors...playing in the sanbox, laying in the hammock, the porch swing and Lyza's new favorite...sidewalk chalk! Except...she likes to write on the house. She is such a little monkey. Yesterday she fell trying to get IN her playpen (she climbs on the coffee table and throws herself into the playpen)...and now she has a nice bruise on her nose!

Last night I put Lyza on the webcam for my friend Jennifer......it was hilarious. I really didn't think she would notice or know what to do....SHE DID. Jennifer and Tori put their "doggies" on the camera and Lyza kept yelling "doggies, doggies"...and them imitated every face they made at her! It was great.....she was so funny and did everything without any prompting. She took the webcam, held it to her face and kept saying "cheese, cheese".....too cute! She is such a little ham!
