More Camping Photos.....

Camping, Camping, Camping......

I figured I had just better get some of our camping photos on here since my blog was updated today to fit our "camping" lifestyle! Didn't Jen do a fabulous job??? Scroll to the bottom also, our campsite is getting raided, as usual by raccoons! We had an awesome time this last weekend...Madisyn took her friend Allison and they actually played on the beach most of the time being silly.....it was fun! It was hot out.....and Lyza just helped herself to the water, if she'd had a suit on I am more than sure she would have gone all the way in. There were some swimming, but I didn't really want a sick child! We took lots of walks on the beach and around the lake....played in the sand and water a lot.....went hiking and mushroom hunting. It poured buckets in the a.m., but we were dry and packed up when it let up a bit.


This coming weekend Chris has to work and Madisyn is in a singing competition with her school choir.....so we won't be camping, but weather permitting we'll be back at it the following weekend!

Family Fun......

Here are some "family fun" photos from this past week! I have many Easter and Camping photos to upload as well! We had a busy week with soccer and track practice for Madisyn! Lyza got a new swing set and we took a trip to the mall to see the Easter Bunny (as you can tell, Chris had fun too!)...ride a few rides and the carousel! Chris was off work this week from Wed-Sun, so we got a lot done around the house...then took off on Fri morning early to go camping! Allison came over Thurs night to stay and joined us on our trip. Saturday evening Chris and Madisyn went to the movies to see "Clash of the Titans", then on Sunday after the Easter Bunny came, egg hunt, church, dinner, visiting grandparents.....Madisyn and I went to the movies to see "The Last Song"! It has been a pretty tiring weekend! It was wonderful to get away though.....despite the morning rain and an intruder at our campsite (trying to steal stuff out of our trailer that had the coolers and camping toys in it..that was a bit scary!). We had to eat at Denny's when we left camp due to the rain....YUM! :-)
