Madisyn's Christmas Concert was SPECTACULAR!!! Wow...way more than I thought it was going to be! I really wish I had invited family to join in this! They really kept the meaning of Christmas in this program and it was wonderful. This was her school choir program! She was a Rudette (Like Rockette...only for Christmas :-). They did an awesome job, great choreography and kuddos to their Choir Teacher Mrs. J!!!
Lyza wanted to sing her ABC's through the entire thing.....but hey, what are you going to do? She's 2!!
Chris is still pretty sick...I got a call from his work this morning wanting to know where he was....heck, it was 5:30 am, how was I supposed to know??? They called back to say he called from the parking lot and was sick. He couldn't get out of the house on time from being sick....so I hope he is well soon. I REALLY don't want this to go around our family again!
First of all...check out my little cousin Courtney's new blog :-)

Lyza and I are both feeling a little better today.....but we all know how the story goes!!...NOW, daddy is sick as a doggie! Hopefully his will just be the 24-48 hr bug also and he will be better for work this week! So far so good with Madisyn.....I'm knocking on wood and keeping my fingers crossed. Right now it is 28 degrees outside, but on Tuesday it is supposed to be 58 degrees! No wonder everyone is sick!
I was just "bragging" to my friend Jennifer the other day how good Lyza has been with the tree. It has been up for nearly a month and she hasn't touched an ornament. Jen told me "There's still a month to go....watch out"! Low and Behold....THE VERY NEXT MORNING, the below photos are how I found Lyza. Not only was she playing with ornaments...but had pulled the ribbon off also! It was a little comical.....thanks Jen for jinxing me!!
Below is Madisyn's photo before her dance last night. Normally when you think of a school "Christmas Dance", one might think of wearing a nice Christmas dress......NOPE, not my kid. She wore Christmas pajamas. Why?? Don't know. Did I try and persuade her otherwise??? ARE YOU KIDDING? She is 12.......they know it ALL at 12, don't you remember??!! Ha.....so no, I didn't try to change her mind. Actually, Chris took her and picked up two of her friends along the way and he said they were dressed in crazy stuff too, so he didn't feel AS bad.
Lyza and I are both sick. She actually started with it on Thursday.....I have never seen such filthy diapers and projectile vomiting from this child. I did nothing but wash, change, wash, change...sheets, clothing, toys, etc.! What a mess. So....by noon on Friday guess who else is doing the same??!! Yep.....mama. I rarely ever get what one of the kids have......but this stomach flu is yucky! It only lasted 24 hrs with Lyza....but still the yucky diapers. I am feeling a little better today.....although I had a rough night. I even forgot to tell Chris that Madisyn had a dance clinic this morning and she woke up late, and got there late. Bad mama..... I hate to even admit this, but Lyza has been in the same clothes two days in a row. Her dad put her to bed in the clothing she had on yesterday....and she wore it until bathtime this evening! Uggg! I just feel weak as a kitten and don't want to do anything. Hopefully it will pass soon!
Taylor is home and out of the hospital. We are thankful for that!

Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Sydney!
We pray every day that someday you will find a forever home!
This is one of her latest November update photos!
It's Finally Friday! Ok, so I must admit......the week has gone by very quickly!!! However, in some aspects have seem to draaaagggg on! It has been an interesting week to say the least. It seems like now that Christmas season has begun, everything seems to be going in fast forward! I have a lot of blogging "catch up" to do!!
Madisyn arrived home on Sunday safe and sound! I went to the airport alone to pick her up (only 5 min away) and Chris stayed home with Lyza to fix lunch.....as we were headed to the in laws for the afternoon for family time and dessert. I am happy to announce I am going to be an AUNT AGAIN!! Yippee! Congrats to Brian, Christine and Lia.
Tuesday Lyza had her 2 year Dr. appt. She was 25.5 lbs and 33.5 inches long. She sung her ABC's for the Dr., counted to 10 in Spanish and English for her and answered just about every question she had.....then she proceeded to crawl in the Dr.'s lap to scribble on her chart!
Thursday morning I woke up to find Lyza in a bed a vomit (which was actually scary for me to find......). I gave her some apple juice and she had two bites of oatmeal which immediatly came back up also, then another round of juice came up........so after the fourth time I called the dr. and put her on the nothing for two hours, introducing liquids only. She fell right to sleep for her nap....then again at bedtime. She was up at 5:30 this morning and seems to be doing well and is active so far. She had yogurt for breakfast and all seems well. So not sure what her little problem was! We'll see how the day goes!
I must be getting old. The highlight of December starting with Christmas shows has me in a divine ritual since Dec. 1!! Every night, 7 pm...everyone must have everything done and in their places to watch the Christmas movie of the night!!!!! It's been fun.......laying by the fire is one of my favorite and most relaxing things!
Well...I must get started on my day......as I plan to get a lot done today!!!! Madisyn has her Christmas dance tonight, so I will post pic's tomorrow of that.
BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THIS SEASON!
