Happy Birthday Liliana

First and Foremost ~ Happy Birthday Liliana Rose Marie Arenas! 1 year old today! She is exactly 4 weeks younger than Lyza! We met the Arenas family through our adoption and have become really close. They went to Guatemala twice the same time we did and drove down from Chicago for Lyza's first birthday! They are special people! Happy Birthday Lili!

Secondly......which is very important also.....CONGRATS WRIGHT FAMILY!! BABY GABE IS COMING HOME!

Our bestest buds, The Wright Family, received notification that they were OUT of PGN yesterday! yahoo! What a great Christmas Blessing!

Well......Christmas season is officially here! Well, I guess it has been for a few weeks, but we are behind! We have chosen to buy a potted tree this year so we can start a Christmas tradition of our own! We will go out the first weekend in December and "tag" our tree.....then about 2 weeks before Christmas, the farm will have it dug and potted and we can pick it up! We will plant it either the day after Christmas, or when Madisyn returns home from her dad's. Whichever comes first! So.....all our outside decorations were up Thanksgiving weekend....but still no tree! I don't like that because I love relaxing by the fireplace and having the glowing lights! So, for now, I just enjoy Maddy's little tree and the lights! The girls and I have been watching a Christmas Movie each night and will do so up until Christmas! Fun Fun....I love the old Christmas cartoons! Then on Christmas Eve, or the Eve before Maddy leaves for her dad's.....we will watch 'Annabelles Wish". We have watched this movie every year that I can remember since Maddy has been born. It is a favorite! We will also read "The Night Before Christmas" from a book that I had when I was little! Wow, it is old! We also bake cookies the night before Christmas. I am slowly trying to make our new traditions work!

I had fun trying to take some Christmas photos last night! As you can tell below, the photo shoot didn't go so well. I had a one year old wanting to play peek a boo with her dress vs taking pics! It was cute......but frustrating for Maddy and I!

Have a great evening!
