I'm still alive......

I am alive......and back to blogging!

Below are some photos from Jonathan and Amanda's wedding this past weekend. I was their photographer, so the bottom pic's are some of their wedding photos! I took over 1400 photos (yes, you read that correctly), so they should have some to choose from :-)) Normally I wouldn't take that many during/before/after a wedding, but they are friends and I am very good about covering EVERYTHING....but I went a little above and beyond for this one!

The wedding was beautiful and everything went smoothly and right on cue! It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple! Amanda's blog is on my side bar under "Going to the Chapel" if you want to check it out!

I must admit, I did not wear the most comfortable shoes...and I am paying for it!! There is not a muscle in my body that isn't sore.....

Amanda had a cabin rented for the night before her wedding......we went there after rehearsal and stayed the night. We had a good time staying up late, talking and looking at the photos I had taken that day while/after decorating and the rehearsal. I ran home on Saturday morning to visit with my mom some, who had come down the night before to stay with my girls. I think they must have had a good time....I came home to an overload of Red Velvet cupcakes......YUM!!! I spent some time with her before my girls got out of bed....then I got Lyza up for the morning. Mommy isn't used to being away from her!! Christopher brought the girls to me just before the wedding so I could fix Lyza's hair...and take Madisyn to the wedding with me. We had a great time.....below are some photos of the girls.

What an exhausting weekend......but we are back on schedule and back in our routine now! Madisyn got her glasses this morning. They are very cute...they are purple with yellow, orange, green and purple swirls down the sides. Very stylish. She was happy to get them....she was having a little trouble seeing the chalkboard. She's happy now.....but I hate to tell her, that will wear off soon!!! She is afraid to try contacts right now....but I am sure this summer she will try them out. She doesn't have to wear the glasses all the time, just for distance.

We have a full week this week of dance, games and her Valentine's Dance on Friday. She flies out bright and early Saturday morning to go to her dad's for the long weekend. Chris and I are meeting up with my brother and his wife on Saturday to celebrate the Valentines Weekend. We are staying at the Marriott. Should be a fun time. I will give you the scoop on Lyza's planned Valentine weekend soon! Should be fun for her too!!
